Marma Points Therapy – Marma points healing
Marma points therapy as a method of Ayurveda healing that positively changes or improves your biochemistry. Remote Marma points healing is the practice of stimulating and manipulate subtle energy or prana in the marma points through the transmission of gentle distance reiki energy.
Healing Marma points of Ayurveda are specific anatomical locations in your body through which your Chakra energies flow and are the energy pathways for healing body, mind, and soul.
I love to bring ancient healing modalities to the modern world in an accessible and easy-to-understand way through my distance energy healing sessions. For centuries, energy healing practitioners have been mapping the human body and linking various organs, limbs, immune responses and even emotional healing to specific energy points which are fundamental regulatory control centers of our body, mind, and behavior.
These ‘points’ are referred to in Chinese Medicine as Acupuncture or Acupressure points, and in Ayurveda and yogic healing, Marma points.
“In ancient Vedic times, marma points were called bindu — a dot, secret dot or mystic point. Like a door or pathway, activating a marma point opens into the inner pharmacy of the body. The body is a silent, universal, biochemical laboratory — operating every moment to interpret and transform arising events. Touching a marma point changes the body’s biochemistry and can unfold radical, alchemical change in one’s makeup. Stimulation of these inner pharmacy pathways signals the body to produce exactly what it needs, including hormones and neurochemicals that heal the body, mind and consciousness. This deep dimension of marma therapy has the potential to unfold spiritual healing.” {book source}

In Ayurvedic medicine, marma points (fundamental regulatory principles of the body, mind, and behavior) are anatomical locations in your body where a concentration of life energy exists. Marma points are said to contain the three doshas:
- vata (air and space)
- kapha (earth and water)
- pitta (fire and water)
These doshas are linked to your physical and emotional well-being. Like traditional Chinese acupuncture, Ayurvedic medicine believes that stimulation of the marma points can improve your physical and mental health. It’s also believed that injury to the marma points can result in negative health effects in the body and in some cases, further injury and even death.
There are 107 marma points located around your body. Stimulation of these points is said to affect everything from the health of your organs to the production of hormones and more…
